Simple Present Tenses

Rumus : S + V (jika subjek jamak/ I, YOU, THEY, WE)
S + V + S/ES ( Jika subjek tunggal / He, SHE, IT)

Kegunaan:

Simple present tense adalah kalimat yang digunakan untuk menujukan :
1. kegiatan ( action) ;Hobby, daily activity, daily event, schedule event.
contoh : I go to school every day.
I play tennis.
The train leaves every morning at 8 AM.
He never forgets his wallet.

2. Menunjukan kebenaran yang tetap / tidak ber ubah - ubah
contoh : Sun rises in the east
A mount is 30 days
A years is twelve months

Present Continuous

Rumus : S + be + V + ing

Be : am/ is/ are

Digunakan untuk mengungkapkan sesuatu yang sedang terjadi pada saat ini juga

Contoh :

You are learning English now.
You are not swimming now
I am sitting.
he is listening to the music
They are smarting Boys

Present Perfect

Rumus : [S + has/have + past participle]

We use the Present Perfect to say that an action happened at an unspecified time before now


Contoh

• You have seen that movie many times.
• Have you seen that movie many times?
• You have not seen that movie many times.
• I have seen that movie twenty times.
• I think I have met him once before.
• There have been many earthquakes in California.
• People have traveled to the Moon.
• People have not traveled to Mars.
• Have you read the book yet?
• Nobody has ever climbed that mountain.
• A: Has there ever been a war in the United States?
  B: Yes, there has been a war in the United States.

Rumus : [S + has/have + been + present participle]

Digunakan untuk menunjukan sesuatu kejadian yang telah dimulai di masa lampau tetapi telah berlanjut hingga saat ini.

Examples:

• They have been talking for the last hour.
• She has been working at that company for three years.
• What have you been doing for the last 30 minutes?
• James has been teaching at the university since June.
• We have been waiting here for over two hours!
• Why has Nancy not been taking her medicine for the last three days?

Pada dasarnya tensis dalam bahasa inggris adalah terdiri dari tiga bentuk saja yaitu : simple present tense, simple past tense, dan simple future tenses. Dalam tiap - tiap tenses itu masing - masing di bagi menjadi beberapa bagian seperti ;

Gambar ini di ambil saat mau balik ke kota jogjakarta, saat itu pas sebelum alun2x Handphon saya berdering, ternyata ada sms masuk, maka saya berhenti di alun2x tersebut untuk membalasnnya, sesudah nya saya melepas lelah sebentar bersama saudara sambil foto2x keadaan sekitar.udara yang begitu sejuk dan segar membuat rasa capek langsung hilang, so bagi yang belum pernah berkunjung ke kota temanggung maka segerakah untuk melepas lelah bored dari aktivitas yang sangat padat.
